Pi Health is a Series A global health technology startup. Our software is revolutionizing patient access to innovative medicines and clinical trials. We are seeking a talented and experienced Sr. Staff Fullstack Software Engineer to join our team and help us build exceptional applications.
What You'll Do
We are looking for a highly skilled Fullstack Software Engineer with extensive experience in both frontend and backend technologies and a strong product development mindset. The ideal candidate will be adept at working with end users, product management, product designers, and other software engineers to deliver high-quality, user-centric solutions. The candidate should have comprehensive expertise across the entire technology stack with balanced proficiency in both frontend (React) and backend (Python) development.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Fullstack Software Engineer with strong proficiency in both React and Python
- Proficiency in frontend technologies including React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Strong backend development skills with Python and relevant frameworks
- Proven experience in shipping consumer or enterprise software products
- Strong product development mindset and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience designing and building RESTful services
- Experience deploying web applications in AWS and similar cloud environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional software development experience
Nice to Have
- Experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries
- Knowledge of Python frameworks (like Django, Flask, or FastAPI) and database technologies such as PostgreSQL
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
- Experience building secure web applications, with knowledge of OWASP Top 10
- Ability to make trade-off decisions to align technical design with business needs
- Skilled at breaking down complex projects into manageable tasks to ensure incremental delivery
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Details
- Remote position
- 40 hours/week; overtime may be required on occasion
- Travel 1–2 times per year for company meetings
